Linn Sandström

Boxing Australia

My name is Linn Sandström. I live in Sydney and I’m a former table tennis champion that have now made the transition into boxing. I live my life by a code, I don't want to be mediocre or middle of the range. I train for me, so that I am as good as I can be. As such I train 15 times a week with one of the best coaches in Australia (Tony Del Vecchio) at Bondi Boxing Club. For me training is a way of life, it is as important to me as my next breath so I believe in super hard work to achieve my goals. "I dream, I believe so I can achieve. I am going to be a Champion.” Follow my journey on my Instagram @thislinn.

What does Forever Better mean to you?

Always to be number 1 and at the top of my game.

How does your training routine look like?

I train 15 sessions a week with one of Australia’s best trainer Tony Del Vecchio at Bondi Boxing club in Sydney. My training is a mix between boxing, sparring, sprints and strength training.

What are your goals for the future?

I want to be a World Champion.

What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?

I can’t do without my boxing gloves, rollers and trigger balls.

Why is Rest and Recovery important to your performance?

Since my body gets put under a lot of impact from hard training and punching recovery is really important. At the moment I do foam rolling, cryotherapy and massage.
