What drives you?
I drive to be the best version on myself in all aspects of my life: physical being, relationships with family and friends, my profession, spiritual alignment. There is no deadline for this. I have already accepted that this is something I will work towards the rest of my life.
What's next in training?
Right now, I am a Lagree instructor at SLT (Strengthen Lengthen Tone). I am working towards my NASM CPT and Barre certification.
What makes you happy?
MOVEMENT makes me happy. I couldn’t be happier that I quit my 9AM-5PM desk job to pursue something I actually am passionate about and centered around movement.
How do you create balance in your life?
Creating balance truly takes a lot of effort and does not come naturally. You have to honestly stay organized and PLAN AHEAD. I know what is important to me and what my priorities are that help me create balance. All of those components that help me feel balanced are schedule in my calendar every day. Balance is different for everyone so know what your priorities are and create time for it each day. You should physically write it down in your calendar so you can check-off those “small wins”.
What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?
My yoga mat! If I do not have time to hit the gym or an SLT class, I know I will always have my yoga mat “my space” to move (workout) or just be still.
What are your goals for the future?
Becoming a RD (Registered Dietitian).
Who inspires you and why?
My friends everyday are inspiring me. We are all so different and go to the beat of our own drum. I am constantly learning from them because we all have unique spirits and passions.
