Q&A
WHAT’S YOUR STORY
I’m a stylist and creative consultant based in Stockholm that thinks a good workout is the best skin prep, happy pill and Monday morning activity.
HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE?
I value my time off and prioritize my wellness and the things that are important to me.
WHAT DOES YOUR TRAINING ROUTINE LOOK LIKE? WHY IS TRAINING IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CAREER?
I work out 3-6 times a week and try to do different types of exercises: weight training, running, swimming and yoga. A favorite of mine is my newly found workout form ”Megaformer”.
Varying my workout routine and starting off early in the morning was a game changer for me.
It was challenging at first, early mornings isn’t really my thing, but the feeling after is a reward itself. Working out is my happy pill and helps me focus throughout the day.
MUST HAVE IN YOUR TRAINING WARDROBE RIGHT NOW?
A pair of high waisted seamless tights. They are so comfy and I wear them to work almost everyday (yes, it’s true) matched with an oversized knit, along with my personal jewelry. I’m also up for a more colorful training wardrobe AND last but not least, I’m obsessed with sets.
YOUR BEST TIP TO MAKE ATHLEISURE A PART OF YOUR STYLE?
Putting together an effortless, perfectly coordinated workout look (whether you’re actually working out or not) is easier said than done. My advice is to make it simple and not overdo it. With that said, I still think you can wear yoga pants for a night out - but go for a minimalistic and comfy look. Black tights and a sports bra, paired with an oversized blazer, heels and a mini-bag is a winner if you ask me!
