IT ALL STARTS WITH THE MAT

There are different types of exercise mats intended to be used for different types of training and recovery movements. Most studios have mats that you can borrow but ask yourself; would you borrow someone else's shoes or T-shirt even? It is much more hygienic to have your own mat, the mat that is perfect for your needs, a mat that you can unroll anywhere, the studio, on holiday and most importantly really the only tool you need for home training.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR MAT

How should you take care of your mat to ensure it lasts for as long as possible? We have some short tips for you:

  • Clean off the mat with a soft cloth after every use.
  • Clean your hands & feet before a practice.
  • Use a yoga towel over your mat, to absorb excess moisture.
  • You should wash your mat once a month.
  • Soak the mat in cold water and if necesarry use a mild detergent, soap for example. Then wipe it off with a soft cloth.
  • Remove excess water and hang the mat up to dry.
