What is your best training tips?
First of all, remember you are different than everyone else. And it’s especially true when it comes to health and fitness.
Everywhere you look, be it in fitness magazines or on social media, you are promised amazing, life-changing results. You are shown unbelievable examples of people wo experience dramatic physical changes in almost no time at all.
The world wasn’t formed in a day, neither were we. Our bodies react differently to certain types of training.
- Surround yourself with like-minded people
- Find a workout you enjoy and can stick with, set small goals and build upon them.
- Practice good from and posture before progressing to heavier weights.
- Challenge yourself, make notes and check your progress.
- Rest and recover. If you’re not giving your muscles enough downtime, you will end up slowing your progress or worse.
What's your favorite type of training?
A combination of bodyweight and functional training. Bodyweight training can be done anywhere and requires no equipment. Functional training emphasizes multi-planar movements, that help perform everyday tasks.

Weight Vest.
I wear it for strength and aerobic activities. In- and outdoors. Using the vest for bodyweight exercises, mean the muscles have to adapt to the higher weight. Which builds strength, muscular endurance and increased bone density.
What does top perfomance mean to you?
Giving no less than 100% of what was possible on that day. This could be after teaching a class, a personal training session or my own workout. Leaving the gym feeling happy and satisfied with what i’ve accomplished.

Stay positive, enjoy the moment and work on the future. It’s never too late and you’re never too old to learn from others.
What does Life in Balance mean to you?
We have to decide what it is that matters most to us and what is deserving of our time, energy, and even money, and then arrange our lives accordingly. Once we determine what it is that we want more of in our life, then we also have to commit to giving less to other areas.
