EXERCISE BALL WORKOUT

  

Casall ambassador Frida Hallqvist is challenging us all to try this workout! "Using such a small piece of equipment as a toning or exercise ball can actually create huge results. The ball will help your body to get stronger, leaner and more toned. But it will also improve your balance and mobility." 

 


LET'S GET STARTED!

Let's go outside and get that extra energy pumping with adding fresh air to the mix! Do the exercises for 10-20 repetitions x 4 laps.

 

EXERCISE 1

Add that extra level to your traditional squats! Place the ball in between your legs, just above your knees and squeeze your legs together to keep the ball in place through the movement. For an extra challenge - do the exercise on your toes.

Place the ball between your calf and your back thigh, squeeze it through the movement so it stays in place. Press your knee backwards and come back again. For an extra challenge - do the exercise on your toes.

 

EXERCISE 3

Sit down on your mat and place the ball as support at your lower back and lean back. Hold your arms straight up and then move them infront of you. You should feel it in your abs!

 

EXERCISE 4

A traditional Russian twist with a twist! Hold the ball on straight arms and sit down in a boat position, than move the ball from side to side.

 

EXERCISE 5

Start in a plank position with your shins on the ball, your legs should be bent though. Pull your knees towards your face and then back again - make sure to hold a straight back and that your abs are activated.

Let's finish off with a plank! Stand still for 60 sec and repeat 3 times!
