What drives you? What does ‘making a difference’ mean to you?
My passion for real food and nutrition, how what we eat affects our health. By doing what we love we inspire and awakens the heart of others.
Tell us a story from your past that has really shaped you. What did you learn?
When I was younger I suffered from bulimia. When I recovered, I understood how junk foods and empty calories can hijack the biochemistry of the brain, leading to downright food addiction, cause us to lose control over our consumption.
If you could travel back in time… what piece of advice would to give to yourself ten years ago?
Everything comes to you at the right time, be patient and trust the process.
What does your morning routine look like? How do you maintain balance in your life? What bio or life hack would you like to share with the world?
As soon as I wake up I drink a big glass of warm water to cleanse the body by flushing out toxins. After that I enjoy a cup of coffee, a lighter breakfast and a good read. I also squeeze in a super quick stretch, I love stretching, it feels so good!
Right now TM, Transcendental Meditation, is the most powerful tool for me to maintain a healthy balance between mind, body and soul.
Start using a face mist to refresh your skin throughout the day. It helps me stay awake and alert in front of the computer.
When are you most happy? Where is your happy place?
Together with family and friends, and after meditation.
What’s your favorite type of training? Why is training important for you and your career?
Yoga and dance. Moving my body is essential to my health. Exercise keeps my brain fit.
What’s next? What are your ambitions for the future?
We’re planning to launch a new healthy candy brand; I’m super excited about this project.
