Yoga Tulum

My name is Daria Hines, I was born and raised in New York City but now split the year Tulum, Mexico and Laguna Beach, California. Wife and a mother of 2 and stepmother to 1. I studied dance as a child into my teens and have always been happier when some kind of physical activity is part of my life. I have been practicing yoga for 12 years. I am very passionate about restorative and yin yoga and sharing with others ways they can heal their own bodies and maybe hearts as i was able to do for myself. I have studied with Shiva Rea, Mathew Cohen and Jorgen Christiansson in California and received my 300 hour YTT yoga alliance certification from Daniel Aaron of radiantly Alive Yoga (twice lol) in Ubud, Bali and completed a 200 hour Yin Yoga alliance certified training from Jo Phee and Joe Barnett. I teach Slow Flow Vinyasa ,Yin Yoga ,and Roll and Release as taught to me by my teacher James Mattingley of rollnrelease.com. "Yoga has helped me heal my body ,mind and heart along the way of past injury I believe in the power of Yoga to teach us how to heal ourselves from the inside".

What drives you?

Gratefulness for my healthy body and mind, and my responsibility to be here for my children as long as i can.

What’s next in training?

I dont know but I’m hoping it will be more and more people connecting to their physical bodies on energetic levels using visualization ,meditation and recognizing how the entire body system can benefit.

What makes you happy?

Being with my family ,travel and studying yoga from as many teachers as i can!!

How do you create balance in your life?

By not being attached to the outcomes of each day ,knowing i am doing my best in the present moment helps.

What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?

My fascial release balls and doterra oils. Oops thats 2 things :)

What are your goals for the future?

To create my own restorative and wellness retreats, more trainings with my Yin teachers and spend more time in Bali.

Who inspires you and why?

People that take responsibility for the life they want to create.
Schoolteachers that dedicate their time to the children of the world.
Activists that fight for our rights as human beings .
