What drives you?
I love the feeling of improving myself – whether in surfing or with any other skills but for the most part working on and improving my surfing drives me!
What's next in training?
I’d like to achieve a more well-rounded fitness and strength (at the moment I have good upper body strength from surfing but, for example, can’t run to save my life hehe).
What makes you happy?
I love pushing myself in surfing - trying new things. The satisfaction I get from completing a new maneuver is inexplicable.
How do you create balance in your life?
I make sure I get some form of exercise every day, even if it’s just cycling to and from work. I go for a surf in my lunch break whenever I can and try to do some training on land at least once a week.
What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?
There’s nothing quite like a decent sports bra that makes you feel comfortable and confident while working out.
What are your goals for the future?
There are so many! But overall I’d like to travel – a lot!
Who inspires you and why?
I’m so inspired by professional surfer Stephanie Gilmour – she manages to strike the perfect balance between being athletic and graceful. She’s strong and fit but beautiful, kind and stylish at the same time!
