Pulsing Barre with Frida

I want to inspire you to move better and change the way you look at fitness and making it a natural part of your life. Training should be something you look forward to every day.

My name is Frida Hallqvist and I am Swedish training- and health-expert living in Copenhagen. I’m a former ballet dancer and the founder of Pulsing Barre, which is a workout routine based on my background as a master pilates teacher and ballet dancer. My goal is to inspire you to move better and change the way you look at fitness and making it a natural part of your life. The one thing you look forward to every day. As a mother of two small boys I know how important it is to stay healthy in both your body and mind, to be able to enjoy life as much as possible and staying on top of things. Besides teaching my bootcamps and running camps I’m a published bestseller author of workout books. I’m also a part of the advisory board for the Scandinavian fitness and health magazine I FORM.

This year I’m also launching an exciting new product. My very own BODYbyFRIDA on demand - online universe. Inspiration and motivation for home workouts and healthy living with over hundreds of home workouts and cooking videos. So staying in shape will be fun easy at home. Release in September 2017.

It’s never going to get easier, you will just get stronger!

What is your best training tips?

30 push-ups every day, is keeping me fit in a busy life. Learn to go into “the pain” dont move away from it. It won’t kill you, it will only make you stronger.

Whats your favorite type of training?

My very own Pulsing Barre program that I teach 4 classes every week. I love to workout in hot temperatures, around 37 degrees is ideal. I also love running. It’s my meditation and my “me-time”.

Best Casall tool and why?

The rubber bands are my absolute favourite tools. It really shapes the body in an effective way and its super fun and easy to use. I always have it with me when I travel!
