Oh Hey Vaycay! This year it feels more necessary then ever with some time off this summer! Eventhough we are also planning to just lay in the hammock - doing nothing - we wanted to give you some accessible workouts to do in the garden!
LET'S GET STARTED!
Let's go outside and get that extra energy pumping with adding fresh air to the mix! Do the exercises for 10-20 repetitions x 4 laps.
Start standing straight up, go down in a squat position and lower the dumbbells towards the ground. Go back up again and continue in the same manner. if you want to make it even more challenging you can go up with straight arms over your head when you are in standing position.
This might feel a bit strange but try to mimic a boxing movement - we promise your will feel this in the morning after! Go for control not speed in this movement.
Lay down on your back. place the band stretched between your feet and keep your arms straight up. Try to keep the band stretched at all times and go out and in with your legs.
Stand in a squat position with feet hip-width apart, the band should be under your feet. Do bicep curls with the band as resistance.
Start in a downward dog postion (almost like a triangle with straight arms and legs). Without loosing your position touch your right foot with the opposite hand, then switch to the other side.
Let's finish with a balancing exercise. Stand straight with your arms out at the sides. Raise one knee towards your chest. Then go out with the same leg staright backwards and at the same time let your arms come straight forward. Switch leg.
