What drives you? What does ‘making a difference’ mean to you?
Passion drives me, a feeling of that what you do matters, that can make a difference for someone else. To be able to solve problems. VR & AR for me is the fourth industrial revolution, where we can democratize information and hopefully solve a lot people and earths challenges ahead.
Tell us a story from your past that has really shaped you. What did you learn?
I started worked in a business with a lot of men, I saw such a big different in how they worked and approached work that was different from what I saw in women in general (This was back in the days though). They said “no” more often and stood their grounds. So, I did that as well, I refused to prove more just because I was a girl, and I think that that I one of the best lessons I learned. I am so glad to see that this has changed over time, though we still have a long way to go.
If you could travel back in time… what piece of advice would to give to yourself ten years ago?
Take life as its coms, don’t worry so much. Life will close some doors, open others, and the ones you least expect. Its up to you, only you and how you are going to feel about it.
What does your morning routine look like? How do you maintain balance in your life? What bio or life hack would you like to share with the world?
I go up a six, make myself ready. Wake up the girls, have a nice breakfast together with them then off to school and work for me. I have always felt very balanced, I know myself and I am not efficient if I don’t get me or free time. Work hard when you are at work, but don’t spend hours at the office just because. Change the environment. I have no problem with working nights If I have to, like I have no problems taking a day of. The important thing is to do both. Technology is a tool to work more freely and when it works timewise for you.
When are you most happy? Where is your happy place?
At home with my family. I always searched for a happy place, and a place to find myself in the past. But the best thing you can do is to find it at home. Don’t complain about the weather, it is what it is.
What’s your favorite type of training? Why is training important for you and your career?
I love to play sports, to active my head at the same time, Kite, tennis or Badminton. For me it’s a good way to clear my head and get rid of stress. My goal this year is to really learn yoga, I think that would be very benefitable for my job, since I’m sitting down a lot.
What’s next? What are your ambitions for the future?
To learn more, to be able to grow my company and stay passionate. Travel and see more of the world. Learn Yoga. Meet more people and develop myself.
