What drives you?
What drives me is that I always want to give more of myself and thus has to become more in all aspects, knowing that there's always something to improve and perfect that- for the moment, whatever that might be- is what drives me.
What is next in training?
Adaptability in pursuing the health & fitness related goals by reinforcing the fundamentals in human movement, back to basics and functionality in training is what's next in training.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing other people succeed, whether it's a friend making it in sports or a client with three kids at home that can balance the family and work life and still find time to take proper care of oneself.
How do you create balance in life?
I create balance in my life by setting myself in environments to best succeed towards my goals, were the distractions are minimum because of the same-minded people that surround me and make the journey enjoyable. I also really enjoy small daily victories and taking some time every now and then to reflect on the journey, which helps me keep my motivation on top.
What is one piece of kit you could not live without?
My water bottle is by far the one kit I could not live without, a habit I have from the days when I used to live in Florida and always carried a water bottle everywhere.
What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future is to inspire others on a bigger scale to being able to live without anything holding them back such as pain, weaknesses or injuries in order to fully enjoy everything else, essentially raising their quality of life. Another long-term goal is to grow me and my brothers sport center in Tanzania as a way of giving back, in the best possible way by letting kids play, train and exercise, which they otherwise may not have had the opportunity to do so.
Who inspires you?
My father always inspired me as he always felt joy in seeing others happy and wanted to give back by becoming more and growing as a person.
