What’s next in training?
I think climbing is going to blow up. For me it has become the best mental strength training. In general I feel like people are going back to natural bodyweight movements. I also see more and more people trying acrobatic exercises, agility training as well as anything outdoors.
What makes you happy?
Being able to appreciate the little things! I truly believe happiness is a choice. Each moment I give my best to live my truth and that way I stay happy.
How do you create balance in your life?
Once in a while I make sure to do something just for myself. I turn off my phone and take a bath, do beauty rituals or go for a walk out in nature. Very simple but effective. For me it’s all about going back to basics.
What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?
Definitely high waist leggings!
What are your goals for the future?
I want to continue growing on a personal and spiritual level. My biggest dream is to wake up every morning with the sound of the ocean.
Who inspires you and why?
Oprah has inspired me a lot. Her life story has had an impact on how I approach mine. I look up to woman like her or Beyoncé. They have a great work ethic and are unapologetic about being a woman.
