What drives you?
In Ballet in particular we strive to perfect something that is impossible to perfect, which on its own gives me drive towards self-development. I also find importance in the versatility in the things that drive me. Hiking, Yoga, and Running for example are important in maintaining a well balanced physical state.
What’s next in training?
I would like for us to get to a place where well-being/ physical health is not just a fad; but a necessity across all our minds. I would like for us to break down the stereotypes of what it means to be fit. A community, like the one we are building here, is a step towards that.
What makes you happy?
Having a balanced life.
How do you create balance in your life?
In my life balance comes from versatility, variety, and moderation.
What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?
My Casall yoga mat is a must have item.
What are your goals for the future?
Through exercise, body awareness, and maintaining good health - my goal is to continue to have my physical state match my spiritual youth.
Who inspires you and why?
My parents inspire me from how they patiently, and with joy, approach all the challenges that life throws at them to their adaptability, especially most recently in how easily they are incorporating diet and exercise. They say it helps that we (my brother and I) lead from example. Also, my brother, a bodybuilder and dietician whos type of discipline I’ve never come across. He makes me feel like I can continue pursuing towards goals even if they might not seem achievable.
