What drives you?

The psychological break throughs I have witnessed in the past have been a huge contributing factor in my drive to continue this work and delve deeper into how the mind and body work as a team to heal injuries and build confidence for a person.

What’s next in training?

The Classical Pilates Training course, I am currently on this now and it goes for about another 9 months-  it’s pretty rad!

What makes you happy?

The fact I can contribute to boosting someone's well being, through improved movement and reducing pain. I’m extremely happy when I notice a client have improved confidence, whether it be in their physical capacity, their career and work, or just in their day to day lives.

How do you create balance in your life?

This is always interesting because what I do to balance my life all depends on my mood. Because my work is so satisfying for me, and I am with people all day, talking a lot, I find being alone and being STILL gives me my balance. Seeing friends or being in big social groups can be stressful if I am tired. If I work 10 hours  a day for 14 days, on the 15th day I will be very still, quiet, have little interaction with people. That and a good night out dancing to electronic music, if I have the energy that is very refreshing for me.

What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?

My lacross ball that I use for self massage to release muscular tension. It goes everywhere with me!

What are your goals for the future?

One goal I have to tick off in the next few years is to Present a talk on “TED Talks” on the use of language particularly the word “sorry” and explain WHY the constant over use of this word is affecting confidence, self worth and physical progress for millions of people across the globe.

Who inspires you and why?

My clients.  They give me a true purpose. Without them, my skills are a waste. Whatever gives you purpose is your inspiration, the two are married.
