What drives you?
To be able to share my joy and inspire others to work out and eat good foods to fuel your body is one of my big passions in life. The positive feedback I get from people after a class, social media, friends and family is amazing and keeps me going.
What's next in training?
Definitely indoor cycling. I think this is our year to shine! I’m very grateful to be a part of Urban Ride+ in Stockholm. We are moving in line with the music and user choreography to target different muscles. We also use dumbbells whilst on your bike but most important WE HAVE SO MUCH FUN. You’ll have to try it!
What makes you happy?
I have a great deal that makes me happy and could turn a bad day to a good one. This is only a few of my favorites: my puppy, a tough work-out, fairy lights, yoga, ice-cream, traveling, cycling, boyfriend, sushi etc.
How do you create balance in your life?
I believe in a balanced diet where you choose nutritious foods but never punish yourself for a sweet treat occasionally. And were you work out to be stronger and healthier not to fit a certain image portrayed by society. It took me years to get here and it can still be a struggle. Remember these two quotes ‘Healthy looks different on every body’ and ‘one size never fits all’.
What’s one piece of kit you could not live without?
You can never go wrong with rubber bands. You can bring them with you even if you travel light and you can create a killer workout that make your muscles burn!
What are your goals for the future?
I hope to be able to arrange more work outs, workshops and lectures where likeminded spirits can meet and connect. Together we can inspire each other and change the world!
Who inspires you and why?
I get inspired by all the people reaching out regarding their mental illness. I’m amazed how many who will reach out to you whenever I show vulnerability and openness around my diagnosis bipolar disease. Thank you all for sharing!
