Our product team in Stockholm works relentlessly to make sure our activewear and tools can withstand the demands of the progressive modern athlete. A passion and respect for materials is at the heart of our brand. We are obsessive about honesty and doing things the right way. For us, our consumers and our planet. Every product that carries the Casall brand has been lovingly and meticulously crafted by our team’s exacting high standard of performance. There are no compromises.

A passion for design is at the heart of our brand. We’re fabric fanatics and consciously choose technical materials that perform, but also look and feel beautiful.

There are always trade-offs. Artificial is always artificial, yet recycled is, after all, better than the non-recycled. So Casall focuses on increasing the use of recycled materials throughout the collection.

Artificial materials, synthetic and regenerated fibres have some outstanding advantages when it comes to activewear. For example, they keep you cool and tempered, they dry faster, are more stable, keep a fit better, are also more durable and have a longer life span than many natural materials. And if produced well, a long-lasting garment can also be seen as a good option from an environmental perspective. There is no golden rule; but Casall always do our best to find environmentally friendly options combined with superior functionality for training.

Polyamide and Re-cycled Polyamide. Common in Casall collection. Made of oil. A long-lasting soft, strong, stable and elastic fiber with fast absorption, quick-drying, good odor resistance, good color fastness and easy to wash properties. Our re-cycled polyamide is made from pre or post-consumer regenerated fiber, for instance old fishing nets, old carpets and waste from production of polyamide fabrics.

Polyester and Re-cycled Polyester. A small range of the Casall collection. Made of oil. A long-lasting, strong, stable and elastic fibre with fast absorbing, quick-dry, good color fastness and easy to wash properties. Less odor control and less soft than Polyamide. Our re-cycled polyester is mainly made of PET bottles and production waste.

Elastane and Re-cycled Elastane. Made of polyurethane or PU/polyester mix. Very elastic/flexible and used in mix with other fabrics to get stretch, good shape retention, improved fit and freedom of movement.

Lyocell is a cellulose fiber made of eucalyptus and produced in a closed production system that saves water and energy and the use of chemicals is controlled and environmentally friendly. That makes it one of the most environmentally friendly materials in the textile business; very soft and strong, good absorption, quick dry, wrinkle resistant, natural odor resistant, and biodegradable.

Modal a cellulose fiber of beech (leafy tree), called man-made cotton and is often mixed with other fibers. Soft and strong, good absorption wrinkle resistant and quick-dry abilities.

Viscose is the first cellulose fiber made of any kind of wood or waste cotton fibers. It is a fluid fabric with good absorption features.

Cotton. Casall are increasing use of organic cotton when cotton is part of collection. It is a soft, comfortable and biodegradable fiber with good absorption abilities but long drying time.  Ordinary cotton production is water intensive, the use of biocides is high and the production is chemical intensive.

Wool comes mainly from sheep. Great function as a base layer with warming properties even when wet and good absorption. Biodegradable fiber, water-, dirt-, flame- and naturally odor resistant.

The key to our success is that we have always been at the forefront of material technology and dare to explore new horizons, regardless of whether that is new home training products, methods or taking environmental responsibility.

The Casall Bamboo Range is made from a wide range of renewable bio-based feedstock including bamboo, rice husks, straw, wood and agricultural waste, which are not eligible for food or feed production. This collection is labelled Conscious Choice using renewable resources and reducing the C02 emissions and Fossil EVA usage which produces less harmful and toxic material into the environment.

The Casall Cork Series is sustainably produced in Portugal. Portugal is home to the largest cork oak forest area in the world. Growing awareness of the value of the ecosystem of the cork oak forest has led to important initiatives in reforestation and the systematization of good practices. Supporting Portuguese cork production is one way of ensuring the future of cork and represents the perfect balance between preserving the environment and the sustainable development of local communities.

Casall ECO fitness bottle is made from sugar cane. It is still plastic but 100% recyclable. The conscious choice to use the sugar cane comes from the fact that the “green” plastic absorbs CO2 from the air when plants grow and also to produce the oil from sugar cane has less negative impact on the environment than fossil oil.

Plastic is a long-lasting, strong, durable, lightweight and versatile material for training products.  Plastics used by Casall always comply with the strictest law and safety standards and requirements on the use of chemicals and other substances in the manufacturing process, considering our health and the environmental impact.

Extracted from the Pará tree as latex; a sticky, milky substance that is harvested from cuts in the bark of the tree before being processed into rubber. Natural rubber is composed of polymer polyisoprene and has a large stretch ratio and high resilience.

When producing our natural rubber yoga mats, we take leftover natural rubber from the production processes that would otherwise have gone to waste. And apply a new unique development processes to recycle and re-use this left-over natural material in our yoga mat production.

The Casall Yoga bolster, meditation pillow and eye pillow are all produced of approx. 80% renewable bio-based feedstock. Different natural material fillings such as buckwheat shells or flaxseed shells and lavender seeds.
